Gathering Professions

World of Warcraft gold isn’t always easy to get, but it doesn’t have to be difficult, either. One strategy is to go with two gathering professions rather than crafting professions. Why? Because you will be able to sell everything you gather to other characters to use for their crafting professions. Sure, you’ll have to loot or buy crafted items yourself since you won’t be making them, but you’ll be getting tons of gold in no time at all, so you should be able to afford weapons, enchantments, potions, armor, and so forth.

Gathering professions in World of Warcraft that can bring you a lot of gold include: mining, skinning, herbalism, and (dis)enchanting. If you want to take up enchanting, you can sell all the essences and dusts you get from disenchanting items. However, at lower levels, such items are hard to come by, as enemies hardly drop them. You’ll have to kill a lot of enemies (particularly humanoids) in order to get them to drop green items. This can be a good choice later on in higher levels in WoW, though, as more and more enemies will drop green and blue items.

Grinding and Looting

A lot of World of Warcraft players don’t like grinding, but it doesn’t always have to be boring. You can acquire plenty of great items in no time at all. You could always listen to music when grinding and farming for gold. You can accumulate a couple of bags full within just half an hour! Some of the items you can use for yourself, while others you can sell.

Try killing mobs that are at least a level or two higher than you (if you can). Try to go easy on the potions, though. If you find yourself going through  Buy wow gold   potions too quickly, you should stick with fighting some a level or two below you. The higher the levels of your enemies in World of Warcraft, the better the loot. You can especially pick up a lot of great items by fighting humanoid characters. If you have skinning as a profession, however, you can stick to fighting animals and beasts.

Auction House

Learn all you can about the auction house in WoW. The prices vary from server to server, so every time you’re there, take notes on the average prices on various items. One trick is to buy up on all the items sold at a less-than-average price and then relisting them yourself at the average price. If you can manage to pull this off successfully, you can make a lot of gold in World of Warcraft!

If you find that you’re having trouble reselling the items successfully, try relisting them at another time of day or night. Sometimes prices at the auction house can vary depending on the time. Even if it takes you a few days to successfully sell everything, taking the time to figure out how the AH works on your server is worthwhile.
